Gear and Item Set Info

 

2 Blood Spawn: Great 2 piece set for ultimate generation

5 Akaviri Dragonguard (4 on ice staff bar): Boosts our healing recieved, magicka recovery, health and reduces the cost of our horn. Great set and easy to get.

5 Tava's Favour: Another great ultimate generation tool when combined with shuffle

 

All sturdy, tri-stat glyphs on head, chest and legs. Stamina on shield and health on everything else. All jewellery glyphs are magicka recovery. Weakening glygh on 1h weapon, crushing on ice staff.

 

I personally use and infused 1H and decisive staff but this shouldnt matter too much, choose what works for you.

 

General Info

 

Tri- food

Lady Mundus as our resistances aren't quite at cap but atronach is great too.

Tri-pots are ideal but not cheap so I tend to use stam/magicka drop potions.

We are vampire with this build for Invigorating Drain but personally the extra fire damage has never been an issue.

 

The general idea with this build is to get as many horns off as possible and I've found 2 ways to do this depending on the situation. If there is 1 enemy (boss for example) and the healer is doing a great job, everything is going well, you  keep the target taunted and debuffed and spam weave Invigorating Drain like theres no tomorrow. This will give you 8 ultimate per second, this could potentially build up the cost for a 213 Horn (thanks to Akiviri Dragonguard) in 27 seconds. But remember, you have Tava's and Blood Spawn working for you also. This equates to a very impressive uptime of warhorn. If there are a lot of ads you taunt as many as possible and let Tava's and Bloodspawn do the work, the more enemies targeting you the more you will generate.

 

Thanks to the frequent use of horn, Battle Roar gives us crazy sustain which combined with 8 Sturdy, Helping Hands, Stam Pots and 100 CP into Shadow Walker allows us to permablock unconditionally when in a tough fight, even without shards. During these situations you can still generate ultimate with Heroic Slash and Igneous Shield, not to mention again Tava's and Blood Spawn.

 

Champion Point Tips

 

100 into Blessed, the blue tree doesnt have much else going for it

100 into Shadow Walker, 75 into Arcanist

Red tree split to preference
