General Info

Single Target Priority List (DoT):

.1) Venomous Claw dot (only clip if you know you you will not be able to reapply after it ends)

.2) Poison Injection

.3) Carve

.4) Endless Hail

.5) Noxious Breath (Mainly used for Major Fracture)

General Combat Points:

Try to light attack BEFORE every ability is used.  You should clip the animation, leading to higher damage overall.

If all DoTs are up, Take Flight is your highest damage ability, then Executioner.  Carve is used to help keep the uptime on Take Flight at maximum.

Until execute phase, heavy attacks are your friend as filler.  Keep DoT priority in execute phase if time to die >15s (4~5s to put up all dots/AOE), otherwise priority 1 and 2 are your only necessary DoTs.

Prior to Final Build: Use Igneous Weapons in lieu of Vigor until you get 5pc Dreugh King.  If using Igneous Weapons, this buff has highest priority of all other abilities.

Vamp/WW:  No preference.  Don't particularly use them, though the regen from Vamp is nice... not required.  WW ult just makes WW absolutely not worth it for this build.

Champion Point Tips

Mage:

The Ritual, 66x Mighty, 66x Thaumaterge, 34x Precise Strikes, 1x Piercing

(1 pt in each to start, then focus on Mighty first to 37 pts.  From there, Thaumaterge has second priority, then Precise Strikes)

Thief:

The Tower: 100x Warlord

The Lover: 67x Mooncalf

(when leveling, keep even until 67-67, then stack the rest into the Tower).

Warrior:

The Lady: 83x Elemental Defender, 83x Hardy, 1x Thick Skinned

(1 pt in each to start, keep Elemental Defender and Hardy even as you level them, with the exception of vampires who will want to rush Elemental Defender to ~37 pts ASAFP)

Forgot to mention AOE situations… Prioritize Noxious Breath and Carve to get dots up, then focus on single targetting enemies down.

Also keep Razor Caltrops down for AoE. they “can” help for Single Target, but I didn’t count them as part of the priority list.

Endless Hail is huge for AoE, however the radius make it so you have to continuously reposition it. Not ideal.

Have you tried Wrecking Blow? Pretty sure that is the best filler for pre-execute.

Maybe try swapping Noxious Breath to where Razor Caltrops is and put Wrecking Blow on the 2h bar. You can move Razor Caltrops to where Vigor is, dropping Vigor. Shouldn’t need the heal in a group scenario. Either or would work. Safety or a little damage.

I have been suggesting to use The Warrior Mundus stone over The Thief, though I feel it is a bit of a toss-up between the two. I personally chose Warrior due to leveling and enjoying the raw damage; Thief is nice for the additional possible damage to dots. However, being a DK who does not have the inherent crit damage passives of a Nightblade, the difference doesn’t seem quite as variant between the two. I have not thoroughly tested or simulated the Mundus stones, so that is majority speculation.

As for the jewelry, you will need to farm or buy those particular pieces. Weapon Damage enchant can be put on whatever, so if it has health regen and stamina trait, replace that regen enchant.

Hey, was wondering what passives you allocate for 2h, bow, Medium armor etc

Was out of state; sorry for delay.

Take all passives in the respective trees, essentially.

If you’re short on Skyshards, foregoing the stealth bonus (Medium armor) isn’t something you’ll really miss. It’s a PVE-centric build, so the little bonuses to PVP, and sometimes pulling from stealth (depends on encounter), aren’t game breakers.

I have a question for you, could I replace Razor Caltrop with Igneous Weapon, reason I’m asking is that I despise PvP with a burning passion and can only tolerate it up until I get Vigor then I never look back.

I am also wondering about those Alliance War Abilities because I just don’t have them and this toon is pve based. I have had a lot of trouble with getting her just right. I have done a respec at least 6 times so far. It’s hard to find a build like this that is not years old as well.

I’m actually running this build now. It’s my first toon and I’m currently 110 CP. I really like two hand, despite what others may say about it. I’ve noticed ESO really doesn’t give love to 2H in PvE situations. When a weapon enchantment gives the same bonus for 1H as it does for 2H, why would you even bother with 2H in PvE? That being said, this build works really well in PvP. My only adjustment has been 24 Health, 40 Stam. I still run it in PvE though and if you really know your rotation and priorities, you keep enough damage to be viable, but no where near top tier.

Could this build work if I decided to use heavy armour only and forgo the bow? I don’t really care about using ranged weapons, i want to slash things in melee and be more sturdy while doing this.

I’m finding it increasingly difficult to improve my Stamina based 2h + Bow DPS output to compete with the ESO – ( Biased ) and heavily favored Magicka builds, especially in group content because of all the nerfing they have done to stamina builds so am looking for ways to raise my DPS totals yet again, So I was wondering what is your DPS output totals with this kind of build ? Is your build current and up-to-date and still viable? Sure love the thrill of delivering a powerful 2h smash on a foe and would like to continue to be able to do so with stamina based abilities..
