General Info

Very similar to my Venomous Dragon builds but adapted for Nightblades.

As you can see this build can fit a PVP or PVE role depending on your monster set.

Activate your Crippling Grasp to proc Swamp Raider followed by, Power Extraction, Poison Injection, Acid Spray, Shadow Silk, switch weapons, Dark Shades (to maintain Swamp Raider bonus), Relentless focus charge, weave light attacks with, Blood Craze and Surprise Attacks, fire your Assassin's Will when ready and Killer's Blade for execute. Incap Strike is your ULT of choice for damage and Soul Tether for heal emergencies.

Your Briarheart will heal you every time you crit and coupled with Troll King you will have surprisingly good survivability for a medium armor build. Use Velidreth for PVE though.

You can ditch Shadow Silk for Rearming Trap if you wish (in this case take Prolonged Suffering instead of Crippling Grasp.) Or you can take Draining Shot and keep Crippling Grasp. Draining Shot is very useful in PVP. Just make sure you have one Immobolize and one Stun/Disorient on your bar. All have their pros and cons, use whatever works best for you. However, taking both Draining Shot and Rearming Trap might make it difficult to keep up with the Swamp Raider Bonus.

Not quite as much sustained DPS as my Venomous Dragon build, but offers a chance for more burst DPS.

Champion Point Tips

Put a lot of points into Mighty, Precise Strikes and Piercing.

Some into Thaumaturge but not nearly as much as you would for Venemous Dragon.

Hardy, Elemental Defender ETC. Also put some into Medium Armor for added defence.

Warlord, Mooncalf and Healthy to boost the effects of Troll King.

Finally put points into Quick Recovery to boost the healing from Briarheart and Troll King.

Blessed isn't required as your only self heal is Blood Craze, however if you switch out something for Resolving Vigor then you might want a few in here.

Not bad. I would switch out Surprise Attack for Ambush to empower your light attacks and potentially the glyphs. Otherwise, pretty solid.

Maybe I don’t get it but can you explain your gear set up? Swamp Raider say “When you deal damage with a Magicka ability, your Poison and Disease Damage abilities gain an additional 450 Weapon Damage for 10 seconds.”. These attacks are all stamina so how are you supposed to get the proc from this set? Wouldn’t you be better off just running Hunding’s, Leviathan or even Viper’s Sting if you’re looking for poison damage? Sorry not trying to be a dick just serious trying to understand how you consider Swamp Raider to be best in slot for this build.
