General Info

OTHER

This build combines well with the Shor's Shooter and Auriel's Archer builds. I'm an Aldmeri Dominion player on the PC European server. Send me a message @WhiteFang_Wolf if you want to join my guild or join me for adventures across Tamriel.

ITEMS

Food: Cyrodiil field treat for increased Health and Stamin.

Potion: Essence of Health Potion or Speed Potion.

Poison: Optional

REASONS FOR GEAR

The Shadow Walker provides great regeneration while you wait for a victim to get caught in on of your traps or for recovering resources after a fight.

Marksman's Crest allows for reduced costs and increased damage of bow abilities.

Kra'gh adds penetration which is always useful to have.

TACTICS

Always make sure Manifestation of Terror and Lightweight Beast Trap are set, especially while in a tower, to prevent getting swarmed by enemies.

Activate Relentless Focus and Piercing Mark before attacking a target as this will improve your damage.

Open up the attack with 2 Lethal Arrows and then finish off with a Poison Injection. The Ballista is great for draining a target's Stamina, taking down over shields and attacking high Health targets. Endless Hail is great for attacking targets that are grouped together, especially when defending a keep.

Don't be afraid to relocate if the fight get too intense. Place your traps, activate Endless Hail and use Dark Clock to get out of there.

Most importantly, have fun.

I want to use a Two Handed and Bow, a Bow and Bow combination seems boring to me

The double bow combo allows for a variety of bow abilities instead of being limited to one or two. It allows for the improved weapon damage in the first bar while still allowing the use of the Ballista in the second bar.

The traps seem like they would be a lot of fun, especially if you use them at choke points like bridges or keep doors.

I’d use a increase weapon power and weapon crit potion since you don’t have those buffs on your abilities slotted.

Alternatively, you could also flip-flop your abilities so all the bow abilities are on one bar, then use a two item set piece on the back bar. Maybe something with extra protection like a sword and shield (for more resistance) of Desert Rose or Alessian order, since it looks like thats the way you’re playing that bar with Dark Cloak and Mirage… ?

PS… you can craft that potion with Wormwood, Dragonthorn and Blessed Thistle.

Mirage and Dark Cloak are used to avoid damage not resist against it really… Roll dodging with a bow increases your movement speed allowing you to relocate quickly with Dark Cloak.

Yeah fully aware of the bow roll dodge passive man… That’s cool, I just assumed because usually those morphs are chosen for the added protection. Otherwise Shadowy Disguise is the more common option that archers use for the guaranteed crit damage, at least from my years of experience with this ESO. To each their own I suppose. Enjoy!
