Gear and Item Set Info
This build is mainly for non-Vet players, which might restrict some of the higher level armor sets. At the moment I use this build with the Akaviri Dragonguard set which gives some Magicka Regen, healing taken, Max Health and reduces the cost of Ultimates by 15%. This can be handy for using both Ferocious Leap and Dragonknight Standard – both really good Ultimates.
Any set which grants Max Health or Health Regen is going to be pretty good – keep in mind however that when you are in the non-Vet PVP campaign that most bonuses won’t count becuase you are Battle Levelled and this changes your stats. The 15% Ultimate cost reduction from the Dragon Set and the 8% spell cost reduction from the Seducer Set still count.
I enchant most of my armor for Max Health as this is nessesary to survive the brutal land of Cyrodiil. I tend to use Max Stamina and either Magicka Regen or spell cost reduction for the jewelry enchants. This build is pretty spread out due to the Battle Level effects of the non-Vet campaign.
General Info
So the strategy is pretty much to be a support to your allies as a tanky damage which can rush in, deal some damage, and make it out alive. This is often required in sieges or PVP skirmish battles and you can sometimes change the tide of battle with a sudden Ferocious Leap, Dark Talons and Unstable Flame. This build can have up to 3 damage shields up with the combination of Ferocious Leap, Hardened Armor and Shieled Assault which is really great for charging into a tough situation. Green Dragon Blood is great for those crazy situations where you are taking too much damage. If you have the Magicka left you can use it for the Stamina Regen buff as well!
The second bar is a mixture of support abilities for yourself and allies. Mutagen is great to have up all the time and Healing Springs can help out in those tough sieges. I use Consuming Trap to cast of a bunch of enemies before charging into a fight in the hope that some may die and restore 7% of my Health, Magicka and Stamina. This sometimes works well but that ability itself does little damage (but every bit helps). Obsidian Shield is used to help allies and myself and adds yet another damage shield to the mix. It can be useful for taking flags and the like when your allies are nearby. Green Dragon Blood is there again to use in emergency situations like siege damage.
Stats like Health Regen, Maximum Health from armor sets don’t work in non vet. Only Weapon Crit, Spell Crit and the 5th set bonus of armor sets work in non vet. A level 10 Magnus light armor set is all you need. Only for the 8% chance to negate a spell cost. Also Consuming Trap is a really good idea. Stat enchants on armor in non vet don’t work either. Only way to modify stats (Health, Stamina, Magicka ) on non vet are by Racial Passives, food or Mundus Stones. You can increase your Regen with Champion Points too these days.
So what about mundus traits in armor?
How about flame resistance in jewelry since siege is most of the time fire in non vet pvp
Seems like you could use Lava Whip on bar 1 instead of Green Dragon Blood. Also, I would consider Coagulating Blood and Igneous Shield morph for the big bonuses to healing. Lastly, you could consider vampirism and use devouring swarm and Elusive Mist on bar 2 instead of the Standard and either healing spring or mutagen if you wanted to be more independent.
what champ points would you recomened for this kind of build ?
Can someone advise a god mode tank build? I do not care about damage, just need to be able to cc as well. Thank you.
