All players have access to all of these Weapon Skills regardless of Class or Race.
- Weapon Skills which use Stamina (2H, 1H/S, Dual Wield, Bow) scale with Max Stamina, Weapon Damage and use Weapon Critical.
- Weapon Skills which use Magicka (Staffs) scale with Max Magicka, Spell Damage and use Spell Critical.

Some of the skills have a duration which is very important to know, so to complete this info that should be added.
Can you validate if the passive skill Battle Rush will have any effect on a Bow (Two Handed)?
No the passives only take effect if you equip the weapon type under which they are located.
On the dual wield skills, the passive: “twin blade and blunt”, says swords do extra damage. Is that just for the weapon skills or will it apply to my magicka based class skills on that bar too?
It should apply to all your damage, including Class and Magicka abilities.

Hey, I was wondering how the game calculates how much damage a weapon deals for a Light and Heavy Attacks, is it just the damage stated on the weapon itself or is it also influenced by Max Stamina or in the case of staves Max Magika?
Yep it is calculated using your Weapon Damage or Spell Damage and your Max Stamina or Max Magicka. This also means that buffs to your Weapon Damage from things like Rally will effect your light and heavy attacks.
Thanks for the fast reply, that’s what I thought. I like making Magika builds and using Class abilities, and having a back up Resto Staff, as most of the friends I play with don’t like healing. I was just trying to work out if it was worth using a Sword and Shield for added protection but then I was thinking about gaining Ultimate, I couldn’t find a description in game (on the XBox) of how Light and Heavy Attacks work. I suppose my builds are not made for doing damage, so if I have weak Light Attacks it’s not much of a problem, I guess. Anyway, thank you.
If I only use Destro Staffs does that mean I don’t have to pay any attention to Weapon Damage as the damage it does is taken from my Magicka stats?
Yes pretty much as long as all your skills are using Magicka then Weapon Damage won’t effect anything.
I see that there is an ability you get once you hit 50. I have hit 50 on one of my characters, but don’t see the Lacerate ability at all. Was wondering if this is an outdated ability?
A late response of course. But it would appear that you mean you hit character level 50. That does not mean that you also hit level 50 in that particular skill tree, as they practically have their own levels.
I was wondering if the Two Handed ability Forceful applied for staves. In the game, next to the staff type says, “(Two-Handed).” But I couldn’t tell any buffs were in place.
It does not; destruction and restoration staves are a different weapon type/tree.

I chose Toxic Barrage as my morph for Rapid Fire, how can I change it to Ballista?
