Blacksmithing

Blacksmithing in ESO creates and improves heavy armor and metal weapons like swords, daggers, axes and hammers.

Blacksmithing Crafting Stations can be found in most major cities and towns, often near to the Clothier Stations.

Improves item quality from Normal (White) to Fine (Green).

 Dwarven Oil

Improves item quality from Fine (Green) to Superior (Blue).

 Grain Solvent

Improves item quality from Superior (Blue) to Epic (Purple).

 Tempering Alloy

Improves item quality from Epic (Purple) to Legendary (Gold).

 

Blacksmithing Passives

Passive Image Description
Metalworking Metalworking Allows the use of new and higher level Ingots.
Keen Eye: Ore Keen Eye: Ore Ore in the world will be easier to spot when you are 20, 30, 40 meters close.
Miner Hireling Miner Hireling A miner hireling will send you ore and possibly other items every day. Rank III will deliver items twice a day.
Metal Extraction Metal Extraction Improves the chances of extracting Blacksmithing ingredients.
Metallurgy Metallurgy Reduces research times by 5%,10%,20%,25% and allows the research of two/three items at once. Rank IV limits reasearch time to 30 days maximum.
Temper Expertise Temper Expertise Increases the chances of improving items with tempers.
