Why Armor Master?
Armor Maser is a pretty strong armor set but it can't be used in many Situations. You get a huge amount of extra Health and the armor to defend the Health you just got. BUT you have to use an armor skill on each Skill Bar. DK got his own strong armor buff so you need to trade this pro of the Dragonknight to use Armor Master. But I wanted to try it... for Healths sake!
Why Pirate Skeleton?
The Pirate Skeleton is in my Opinion a really underrated set. It won't give you ressources but it will help you to defend your huge amount of Health you get from Armot Master. You will about 60% of the time a skeleton. So it's wortth. You have a huge amount of Health which compensates the bad side effect of the set.
Why Vampire's Cloak?
Vampire's Cloak gives you Health and extra damage reduction. Everything you want for this build.
What do you get in all from these sets?
You will have 50k health and about 35k physical and magical defense. The cap is at 33k so you have about 34k effective armor. On the Second bar you will have about 30k physical and magical defense.
You can jump in everything with ease and don't need to be afraid switching to your Restauration Staff because of your pure tankyness.
Attribute Points
50x Health
14x Magicka
THE LORD PRAISES THIS TANKYNESS!
General Info
After some feedback:
After I got some feedback I changed my mind in a few points. The set is not viable for vTrail dungeons because you won't have the possibility tho restore magicka with heavy attacks. At this point you won't be able to do your job with this build.
However this build works with all casual dungeons. even testet in Veteran Dragon Star Arena and Veteran Ruins of Mazzatun it'l work there and you will have an easy life supporting your healers and damage dealers even if you are new to taking.
That's why I marked the build as a starter and fun build.
Play Style
You Tank everything and support your group with Igneous Weapon and Igneous Shield. Your ultis play ony a secondary role. You keep Magma Shell till a point where you know that point is dangerous for your group. Ferocious Leap is for the Moment you are about to die.
Sometimes I get bored and walk into dot areas to trigger Pirate Seleton Set.
Combat Strategy
Dependent on which Boss you play against you use melee stance (1h & shield) or ranged stance (restoration staff). Be sure to hold Immovable Brute up, its 10k physical and magical defense.
Melee stance is used in mob groups with many melee mobs. You use the Talons to keep them away from your ranged allies and spot the afterwards to bind them onto you and to pull them to the ranged mobs.
You use this stance only in boss fights where you need to block pretty much. You do heavy attacks to restore your stamina.
Ranged stanceis used in mob groups with many rangeds. You use Igneous Shield to protect your allies and Inner Rage to spot the and bind them to you. You can use your surroundings, like walls or pillars, to let them seek you and pull them onto one spot.
You can use this stance in almost every boss figth. You protect yourself with igneous shield and block the damage. You watch for your teammates so they get Igneuous Shield too. In some situations you must advise them to come nearer to you.
Some will say now: "Where is your ressource management?"
My ressources are heavy attacks. By using Tenacity (13,5%) from Champion points, Rapid Mending (50%) from Heavy Armor you can regain enough stamina to sustain a fight. Since you are wearing a Restoration Staff you will gain Cycle of Life (30% extra on Magicka). For that I skilled Staff Expert as well and thats why i dead about 200-300k Damage in longer boss fights.
Potion use
I usually don't have a need to use potions. But when I do its just Stamina or Magicka. The standard potions are cheap or they are free and way enough.
Feel free to give me some advice here i am no alcemist and don't know what is possible. I never needed to.
Feed requirements
Usually I take Food to increase Max Health, Max Magicka and Max Stamina.
Strenths
+ High self sustain / survivability
+ Great group survivability
+ Strong versus one or less targets
+ Strong versus high single target and group damage
Weaknesses
- many mobs (try to compensate through Igneous Shield)
- Stamina stealing / Stamina intense fights
- no damage
Possible Skill alternatives
These I've used so far. If i need more I will add them.
Action Bar 1
Slot 2 Choking Talons:
- Unrelenting Grip: When you need to pull mobs / adds to you.
- Shield Charge: When you need to follow mobs / bosses.
Slot 4 Igneous Weapons:
- Spiked Bone Shield: When you already have another DK which got Igneous Weapons
Slot 5 Structured Entophy:
- Unrelenting Grip: When you need to pull mobs / adds to you.

Action Bar 2
Slot 5 Structured Entophy:

For your Attribute points you put all 64 in Health?
Yes, this is a health bubble tank. Of course this makes no snese for vTrails.
This is supposed to be a beginners build and you’re using a 9 trait armor set. I cannot find a single build that doesn’t use some fucking veteran dungeon drop set or 9 trait crafted set. What did you do before you had 9 traits? That’s gonna take me months!
