General Info
Action Bar 1 is set up for AOE fights to take down groups of enemies / trash with a Lightning Staff.
Action Bar 2 is set up for tanking / kiting bosses.
The idea behind this build is to make a mage tank that can mow down groups of trash enemies with AOE moves and be able to hold down threat with bosses. I tried to mix in some abilites to improve survivability as well.
What about named gear set and suggestions on where to distribute champion points
This is one of the most fun and unique builds that I’ve ever tried. My party was disbelief when I strolled in with this. “A magic-based DK tank? Respec right now!” But their doubts were quickly cleared as we went through the dungeon.
The most important thing to do is to become familiar with the action bar, using the right abilities at the right times. With a decent healer, you’re nearly unstoppable. Though, I would still pick champion points to improve survivability.
Again, this is a very interesting build that I recommend everyone to try at least once.
