Gear and Item Set Info
This is a PVP build and is all about ultimate and poison. So the gear is:
Armour (all pieces impen and stam enchant)
2 x Bloodspawn (1 Heavy 1 Med)
5 x Sheer Venom
Jewelry (2 x stam regen, 1 x weapon dmg)
Agility
Weapons
Weapon 1 - Asylum Maul. Looking to get the trait changed to Nirnhoned.. (Poisons/Poison enchant -gotta stick with the theme...)
Weapon 2 - Bow (i'm just using a random bow with weapon enchant), but hopefully at some stage i'll get a Master's Bow..
Alternative Set Ups
99% of the time i que solo for bgs, so in setting this up i tried to be self sufficient ... more or less. Here are some options i've tried/ thought would be a good idea:
For a bit more survivability - I've tried replacing BS with Troll King. Gives a bit of extra healing, but i did miss the ulti generation.
More poisons: - i've toyed around with an idea of replacing BS and 3 Agility jewelry with 5 pc Viper to get that poison rot going. I presume survivability would go out the window, but if you've got a healer with you i'd say it would be fun..
I did test the version of running 3 viper jewelry + 2 weapons on back bar and put in a bleed from back. Worked decently and the rot was real...
General Info
First up i'm not the most experienced player, so I am looking for some feedback on how i can imrpove and adjust this build.
Purpose of the build
This is a PVP build and i use it predominately in BGs, as i dont do cyrodill too much. I pref fast paced battles.
It is fairly squishy, although bloodspawn helps a bit, i still die a lot... In saying that, what i like is that you can frontload a bit of dmg fairly quickly, kite away and then come back with some more.
Main Idea
Main idea of this build is poison and ultimates. So the key move is the reverse slice which has the synergy with sheer venom (5 set bonus for poison dmg) + Asylum Maul to generate ultimate. Obviously Bloodspawn will give you some extra ulti's too. So all in all you'll be able to Take Flight fairly often...
As to the fight approach, mine's fairly simple... Buff up, throw a poison injection on them, charge in, put venomus claws, reverse slice and they've got a few dots ticking on them. With this set up i use reverse slice almost like my main spammable to generate ulti and refresh poison from Sheer Venom and throw in a dizzy swing every now and again.
It's definitely not a brawler build, so you cant just stand there and take punishment. But the damage potential makes it fun...
Back Bar
Your back bar is purely for buffs and 1 skill is the flex spot i use if i change to different weapons types. I've use S&B and replaced Poison Injection with reverb bash for major defile, i've also used DW and put in the bleed. Both worked ok.
Resource Management
Heavy Attacks and Ulti is the key, as your regen sits around 1.6k on main bar about 1.8k on second with werewolf.
Food
Dubious Camoran Throne
Potions
I'm broke all the time so can't really afford to by potions, plus with my Aussie connection half the time my potions go off after i die... But if i had the gold, definitely immovable potions would be the key..
Champion Point Tips
Given that BGs only recently turned into CP, i'm yet to research how to set it this up properly. So if any has any good suggestions, i'm all ears...
What you might consider adding to this build is the skill noxious breath, because that added poison and major fracture is a great deal of added damage. Besides that, I have actually been looking at builds like this, and I wondered how the night mother’s gaze set would do. Just a thought, but that instant critical with critical rush might leave an opponent very weak right off the bat, making the poisons even more deadly.
