Gear and Item Set Info
This is NOT meta and is built to what content I play and my playstyle.
Set 1: Twice Born Star (on body). Allows for 2 mundus so I am running Mage and Antronach. Crafted set. My regen sits around 1.7k and with heavy attacks from resto and lightning, resources are never an issue.
- Chest should be heavy
Set 2: Lich jewelry, hat and staves. Found in Crypt of Hearts1 and 2.
1 Piece Monster: Domihaus shoulder in heavy or med for 5/1/1. Be sure to have at least 16.5k health.
All magicka enchants on armor, Crusher or Absorb magicka enchant for resto, Shock enchant on destro. You may choose either lighting or flame. Resto can be Infused trait and destro sharp.
You will need almost every passive from the trees slotted. Read them carefully because some have other requirements and you don't want to waist points on things like Heavy Armor or Med that require 5 items of that weight to be useful.
General Info
I am a vamp and stay stage 4 all the time. I use blue max hp/mag food.
At the start of fights I apply Elemental Drain, Blockade of Storm (for off-balance), refreshing path, Sap Essence and then throw out a few orbs with a healing springs. Repeat as dots fall off.
- Sap Essence will increase groups damage by 20% when it hits a target so wait for tank to gather mobs at the start of every fight to pump up the groups damage.
Sitting at 40k magicka makes your shield big, around 14-15k. This allows you to stay near the tank or in a dangerous area if needed to get some heals off.
Your burst heal is Healing Ward. This takes some getting used to since it applies to the Lowest Health ally. I generally throw healing springs to targets further away as well as throw 3 or 4 Orbs out in fights where I have to move around a lot.
You can swap out Barrier with Shooting Star or Ice Comet or Resto Ulti (recommend Lights Champion)
Champion Point Tips
Remeber that your main focus is healing, NOT DAMAGE, so although damage is a supplement to healing don't throw 60 points into a node that is for damage. I'm not going to tell you exact numbers because they can vary but here are the nodes to put points into that are used most often:
The Mage: precise strikes, Elf Born, Blessed, Master at Arms, Thaumaturge
The Thief: Tumbling, Arcanist, Warlord, Tenacity
The Warrior: Bastion, Hardy, Thick Skinned, Elemental Defender, Light Armor Focus, Iron Clad
