Gear and Item Set Info
In terms of gear and set info: 5 Pieces of Hundings Rage: Head, shoulders, chest, Arms, and belt 2 Pieces of Night Mother's Gaze: Pants and feet All armor is infused with divines and impenetrable traits. Weapons are all Night Mother's Gaze; the 2h is a greatsword and the dual wield weapons are daggers. For the daggers, one is sharpened, one is precise. The greatsword has the precise trait. My jewelry isn't anything special yet; I just use anything that either increases stam or magicka recovery or decreases the cost of stamina or magicka skills Hunding's Rage gives weapon crit boost, weapon damage boost, and stamina boosts Night Mother's Gaze gives weapon damage plus weapons critical My Mundus Stone is The Mage, which increases magicka. This is more/less just remnant from my tank, but it works here as well, since DK skills use magicka.
General Info
I really need to make a separate character for DK DPS, just because a lot of my champion points on this character are spent for tanking (which, honestly, might help a little bit, since my weapon and spell resistance are both over 13k each). My strategy with a DK DPS is to do as much area damage as possible without dying and not having to rely 100% on a healer. In my opinion (though, this could just be because I'm a noob and have never done DPS), DKs can't be quite as powerful at DPS as a Sorc or NB, but they can do a decent job of AOE, and bring quite a bit of damage to a good group. They are somewhat forced to do melee DPS, and in some dungeons, that can get real hairy really quickly. I don't really use the 2H too much, unless I'm doing some soloing, but DW can be extremely deadly for a DK DPS. When I go into Craglorn to do a little grinding, I can take down a group of 10 single-elite weird, piggy/dog things that lumber around (Augh! I can't remember what they are called). If I throw on Deadly Cloak right before approaching the group, once the group is aggro'd, I lock them in with choking talons, use inhale, choking talons again, throw a few steel tornado's at them, rinse and repeat. It takes a bit to get them all down (watch their charge/red AOE path), but spam green dragon blood, and you'll be fine. This works for any melee ads, but flying adds are tougher to take down just because they can't always be locked with choking talons. The deadly combination for any group of enemies is: throw on a Deadly Cloak, lock everyone in with Choking Talons, drop Standard of Might, Inhale, and spam steel tornado. Not every enemy may go down with this, but their health will not be very high once the standard ends.
Champion Point Tips
For DPS, obviously damage is important, but so is stamina and magicka regeneration. The ability to spam some DPS skills for a decent amount of time is extremely underrated, so I would spend a few points to boost medium armor, and then increase magick/stam recovery and the blade expert.
