Gear and Item Set Info
Hey! Thanks for checking out my build!For our head and shoulders Nerien’th is a must. This is because of our spam-casting. Not only does it deal a huge amount of damage (7408) but, it also procs off of any outgoing damage, meaning this will be procing a lot.Hunding’s Rage for chest, legs, gloves, boots and belt.Agility set for jewelry.
General Info
First I’ll give a rundown of the skills.Steel Tornado:Deals, tons of damage, huge area of effect range (AOE), and cheap stamina cost and it’s a finisher. In my opinion, it’s the best skill in the game. This will be our spammable AOE ability. If there are more than two enemies, always use this over Bloodthirst. For all of you doubters, I tried using Whirling Blades; however the extra stamina recovery just wasn’t as good as the added range morph.Bloodthirst:My favorite single target ability. I love this because it does tons of damage, and heals you. And if you peek ahead, we use Critical Surge, which heals you when you get a critical. Because Bloodthirst hits five times, this means five times the chance for you to get a critical. Even if your super unlucky and don’t get a critical you still get healed on the last strike. If you can, try to weave a light attack in right before every time you hit Bloodthirst, as this will give you ultimate.Ball of Lightning:All of you noobs are thinking the same thing: “Why not streak?” Well, there is an easy answer for that. Streak deals magic damage, which scales off of your maximum magicka. If you recall, we have a grand total of zero points in magicka, which means that the added damage will next to none. Ball of Lightning doesn’t deal damage, but it does absorb projectiles, which is awesome by itself. And obviously it teleports you away from the bad guys. A great panic key, but don’t spam cast it.Bound Armaments:This gives us an insanely high bonus to maximum stamina, which means that you can cast more abilities, and those abilities deal more damage (weapon damage/physical damage is in proportion to how much maximum stamina you have.) Also gives us a nice small boost to our armor.Evil Hunter:I don’t care of you have an 80% weapon critical chance; an added 10% is always worth the slot. This means that we deal more damage, and heal ourselves more. Also, we get a small damage bonus when we get a critical, which will be happening a lot. Note: Without gear, your weapon critical should be about 40%-50%. I use the thief mundus stone, and the champion point passive. Flawless Dawnbreaker:Huge damage, AOE, damage over time, and passively boosts our damage by 8%. What’s not to love?Bar TwoRearming Trap:I consider this skill to be more of a buff that a damage dealer, this is because it increases your critical damage by 12%. This is huge. If every 1 out of two strikes deals 50% more damage, that extra 12% gives us a huge boost over time.Hurricane:So many great things I had to make a list:• Increases your armor by a huge amount• Deals tons of AOE damage• Heals you from critical rush• With disintegrate passive (under storm calling) can be a finisherArrow Barrage:Our main skill that deals AOE and DOT. Just a simple skill; deals damage to a group of enemies over time.Bound Armaments:This gives us an insanely high bonus to maximum stamina, which means that you can cast more abilities, and those abilities deal more damage (weapon damage/physical damage is in proportion to how much maximum stamina you have.) Also gives us a nice small boost to our armor.Critical Surge:The Holy Grail skill. It increases your damage by 20% and heals you on critical strikes. Remember how we are getting a critical approximately every two strikes? This skill means that you get healed almost constantly. This is why it’s so important to get a high critical strike chance: more criticals = more self-healing. Clouding Swarm:To all of you devouring swarm lovers, I’m sorry, clouding swarm is just better. Shields you from 100% of all damage for 5 seconds, and deals some of the most damage in the game. Beautiful.
