Gear and Item Set Info
Head and shoulders: grothdarr divines - max magicka enchant heavy head and medium shoulders
Chest, waist, arms, legs : Silks of the sun - all divines - max magicka enchant
Feet, neckless, rings: Shroud of the lich set - feet divines - max magicka enchant - jewelry and rings all arcane with spelldamage enchant
Front bar : Inferno staff of the sun - sharpened with spell damage enchant
Back bar : inferno staff of the lich - sharpened with default absorb magicka enchant
Mundus stone : Thief for high crit % > spell power
Not the BIS for pure dps but you will never run out of magicka with the proc from the lich set combined with potions and the resource return from ultimate. The great thing about the lich set is when you run to below 33% magicka you can swap to the back bar ..get it to proc and switch back to the front and you still get the full 20secs of recovery!
General Info
This build can still pull great dps whilst never running out of magicka! I found the sun set on this build works better than burning spellweave due to the dps set only being on the front bar. The sun set will give a constant 400 spell damage to your flame abilities and as a mag dk pretty much everything will be flame base.
i can pull over 25k dps on a target skeleton with this set up and I'm not the fastest with my rotation!
Rotation: inner light, spell power potion, fully charged heavy, eruption, Engulfing flames, blockade of fire, foo, burning embers then whip n dip. Drop Standard of might whilst all ya dots are up and don't forget to weave light attacks in between every skill and animation cancel.
This build eliminates Mag Dks biggest weakness - magicka sustain..especially whilst soloing group dungeons without a healer using elemental drain and orbs.
I use blue bi stat max health and magicka food

BLUE: 100 in elemental expert , 75 in thermotage, rest in elfborn
GREEN: 100 in magician and 100 in arcanist
RED: 100 in hardy and 100 in elemental defender
