Gear and Item Set Info
Overview:
This build is meant to make you a very sturdy healer, while still bringing all that is required and often times expected of a good healer. This is not meant to be a peak performance build, it is meant to be abuild that will make you survive most situations as a healer. The healer is often time the most important unit in a party surviving, so making sure you are able to survive longer than most people in your party is a rational choice.
Skill Choices:
Breath of life is double bard, so you can heal in an emergency. Luminous shards to supply your party with resources, and with the coming update, theyll be even more useful. Combat Prayer, you should be using this if youre not healing to apply a buff to make your party stronger. Extended ritual applies minor mending (+8% healing) and heals people in its radius. Radiant Aura gives you +10% regeneration on all resources, and can be used to apply minor magicka steal on enemies. Practiced Incantation, for emergency healing.
Elemental Susceptability is an important debuff, and will makes enemies more vulnerable for your teammates. Elemental Blockade with a lightning staff, will set enemies off balance, making them more vulnerable for your party. Rune focus, you can choose the other morph for extra mana, but this morph will make you even tankier while standing on it. Mystic orb, is getting its cooldown linked to shards, so this can really be whatever you like, personally I double bar radiant aura for the regen at all times. Sturdy Horn, for a nice team buff.
Gear:
4 Heavy - Seducer set with healing and lightning staff being the 5th piece. All Divines with the staffs being Defending trait.
3 light - ( 2 Worm Cult with jewelry for the 5 piece set
1 from part of a monster set for extra set stats. I choose mighty chudan for more defence )
Extra notes: I'd recommend either getting the Ritual or Atronach mundus stone, and try to get as much gear with mundus stone enhancement.
General Info
Before combat lay down a rune focus or extended ritual, if not both, and start applying elemental susceptability to enemies for your team mates. Use elemental blockade to set enemies off balance, and apply combat prayer when you don't have any major healing to do. Throw shards regularly as everyone is going to want your shards. Use Sturdy Horn when you can, but make sure you save ultimate points for your Practiced Incantation if a dungeon has a heavy group damage mechanic. Heavy attack or use a potion when you're low on mana.
