Gear and Item Set Info
5 piece Fasallia's Guile (5 heavy on body)(dropped from rewards of the worthy)(you can also buy this at guild traders) (if you don't have then use 5 piece MEDIUM Hunding's Rage) (All stamina enchants)
3 piece Night Mothers Gaze (2 medium on body, bow & 2h as well)(This is a crafted set) (All stamina enchants)
3 piece Agility or Endurace (Aglity works better in my opinion, but does cost a lot more) (Weapon Damage or Stamina Recovery doesn't really matter, whichever one you need more, you use) (healthy or robust traits, again if you need more health, use 1 or 2 healthy, same with stamina, if you have enough health, use all robust)
General Info
Brief Information:
This build is something I came up with and works decent in duels, it's pretty tanky as you are using 5 heavy & 2 medium, the Guile set reduces the healing by 50% of whoever attacks you for 2 seconds, as long as they attack, their healing will be substantially reduced, the 3 piece night mothers gives you crit and weapon damage.
Combo/Fighting in the Duel:
To start off the duel, you would want to activate all your buffs (Obviously) start with purifying ritual as it increases your heals if you have the passives, then activate rally then shuffle then Vigor
You would want to start the duel by using stampede, then wrecking blow animation cancel twice (too do this, wait until your character pulls your weapon to about your legs/waist then hold the heavy attack, this should pull you out of the wrecking blow to continue doing damage, after 1-3 seconds the wrecking blow will hit them) after you have wrecking blow canceled twice, you want to use a fully charged heavy attack into a biting jabs, at this point your 2 wrecking blows would have hit them into the air while you are also hitting them with jabs, you then use your flawless Dawnbreaker, if they are not low enough to health, continue to use jabs/wrecking blow, when they are use executioner, this should do a decent amount of damage, if not kill them (another tip is when they are trying to heal themselves, use this chance to attack them, they might panic or accidentally hit you, reducing their heals by 50%, making it easier to kill them)
Food/Drinks:
*Max Health & Stam Recovery
*Max Stam & Stam Recovery
*Stamina & Health Recovery
*Max Health & Max Stamina
Extra Stuff/Alternatives/End:
That is pretty much it for this, if you want you could switch binding javelin out for total dark for Magicka builds, but you do lose the crit, which is pretty handy when you are trying to heal yourself, but total dark does heal you for the magic damage that they try to inflict onto you so I don't know, it's up to you.
Another thing you could also switch is Flawless Dawnbreker and Werewolf Berserker, if you need more regen, put werewolf on your front bar, if you need more damage, put Dawnbreaker on your front bar, it's up to you.
One more thing you could also do is switch Stampede to Critical Rush, I prefer Stampede as the snare is pretty useful but Crit Rush does do more damage, your choice.

A nightblade skill on a templar build.. genius. Think I’ll post a nightblade build with dk skills and a warden ultimate
Executioner is not a NB skill genius. Executioner is a two handed weapon skill.
Shuffle, 5heavy xD
How do you manage to get a Nightblade skill on a templar?? That is not possible ….
