Gear and Item Set Info

Full heavy armor for all the defense you can get, also the increased duration for shadow barrier passive since you don't have an actual move to give you the major resistances, since we will always have leeching strikes on we don't need to worry too much about resource regen as long as you don't spam out your skills, for this build I'm currently running as follows, 5 piece organum scales, head piece is engine guardian, shoulder and two handed weapon is oblivions curse sword and sheild is vampires kiss, this gives you a constant 3 set amount of hp recovery as well as your jewelry with hp regen, as a nord night blade in heavy armor you will passively get a 73% increase to health recovery with the healthy champion maxed out you get an 98% increase this coupled with organum scales gives you over 5k hp regen that with all of the damage reduction and healing skills you have makes for one hell of an unkillable dk.

General Info

Okay so this is my DKR build I've been having a great time with its survivabilty so far, you want to keep up your shadows all the time also try to keep refreshing path down wherever you are fighting, mass hysteria is only if you find yourself being overwhelmed, always mark the target you are focusing and stay on that target unless necessary to change, then reapply the mark, I'm actually fairly torn between the two defensive posture morphs currently on most of my tanks I choose absorb magicka but that's for the extra healing and self sustain they lack, this class has plenty of that so I was thinking of the reflect stun morph for the extra damage against mages, I guess it truly depends on your play style, two hand is damage and sword board is survivabilty/defense, this is a pvp build but you can throw a taunt on there for pve you want to have hp regen food on all the time while you pvp it will increase your survivabilty immensely.

Champion Point Tips

Increased armor for heavy pieces, all the points you can into healthy and then spell resistance as well, other than that your preference.

Ah right HP regen with preferably max hp but the max stat doesn’t really matter. With this setup I push near 6k hp regen with lots of damage over time and damage reductions

I put all my points into hp, leeching strikes keeps up your resources and since we don’t spam moves there’s no real need to make the pools larger but if you have issues with one or the other you could always use glyphs on your armor

Leeching Strikes over Siphoning Attacks? Isn’t the reduced resource gain a problem?

This build is the sh*t! I’m playing thru Coldharbour and I’m only level 32! I can only imagine how it’ll be once I hit CP level! Thanks!

I did almost the same thing, but used a Redguard. And use a mix between heavy and medium armor .Works wonders for me. With end game and all of the attributes in hp, I can focus in a bit more dps with my racial passive and the medium ones.
