Gear and Item Set Info
currently
5 pc Night Mothers chest/legs infused hands/feet/waist divines
3 pc Agility both weapon bars, neck and ring
1 pc Velidreth heavy helm, currently divines (want infused)
1 pc Molag Kena light shoulders currently Impen :( want divines
1/2 pc Endurance (Just for now because I don't have all agility jewlery) other ring and duel wield weapon
weapons are sharpened with poison and 1 crusher enchants (crusher being on DW bar)
This is currently what I'm using while I try to farm Vicious Ophidian or the Poisonous Serpent set.
Ideal
5 pc Night Mothers (same as above)
either 3 pc Vicious jewlery or 5 pc poisonous serpent replacing kena and velidreth sets
velidreth and kena depending on above choice
and lastly DSA weapons (yea i said DSA not Malestrom)
The reason I'm choosing the Master Weapons over Malestrom is because the malestrom daggers don't even affect this build (i never use flurry even when switching things around) and because this build concentrates on poison the bow would help with the poison injection tick as opposed to an arrow barrage tick. The bow can be either or, but the daggers are pointless if malestrom.
General Info
For this build I use max health and stam food, and poitions I usually just use the stam pot potions found on dead enemies. If you want there is a major brutality, major expedition, major endurance potion, but i really dont like the idea of constantly drinking a pot to do damage and i also dont like the 9 seconds of less DPS cause you dont have major brutality up. If you play with pots then switch out flying blade for some sort of buff like blade cloak or something of that nature.
The point of this build is to lay down a lot of dots so start with flying blade (nice distance attack for DW) buff and AOE then bow attacks, ambush, ult if have (always ambush to Ult unless you cant be next to target because of empower) then surprise/rending slash back to flying blade while moving back for better bow dps. When enemy is low health remember to keep poison injection up in between killers blading because it technically is an execute
Boss Fights- to add to the poison damage i will usually switch beast trap for acid spray, and surprise attack blade cloak. this adds another dot to the mix and the 3 bow attacks with light attack weaves means that you now get to put relentless focus in your rotation (heavy attack, snipe, LA, inject, LA, Spray, LA, turns blue and fire).
If you're running into certain problems i usually switch out some skills so I'll state the problem and say how I go around fixing it.
Running out of Stam- I usually fix this by putting the werewolf ultimate on the bar im mainly using. If running out of stam on trash pulls put it on DW, if during boss Fights put it on bow, but with redguards you tend to keep stam very well.
Health Problems- first blame your healer cause with 20k+ health you should not be dying, or maybe you're not paying attention to AOE's and its your fault (which means this will not help you and if thats the case remember a roll dodge on bow bar increases your movement speed so get the hell out of them). I would usually switch beast trap/acid spray with vigor and have vigor up the whole time.
Not enough Damage- Gold your weapons and your dots should be doing at least 10k a sec, along with mid 20 k snipes and 30 k killer blades. Yea this build hits 50K DPS easily if not more during execute phase.
Champion Point Tips
The points... Best part. Also note this is a build that requires a lot of champion points to be affective so if your under 400 cp than maybe this isnt the build to use.
Thief- In tower put 100 points in Warlord first and lower stam cost up to 16 %. Then in shadow i put 10 in tumbling because i use roll dodge on bow bar a decent amount to increase speed. Then in lover I put 10 in Tenacity to get a lil stam back from heavy attacks and the last 67 in mooncalf.
Mage- In the atronach i put 15 in melee weapons and 15 in bow to get the block and cause damage buff, but mostly the ritual is where you put most of your points. There I put 80 mighty, 10 piercing, 10 precise, and 57 thaumaturge.
Warrior- Here i will admit i have no clue what im doing lol. i more just set things to get the buffs i wanted and tried to keep physical and magical resistance evenish. In the steed i put 10 in spell shield and 20 in medium armor focus. in the lady i put 80 in elemental defender and 47 in hardy (by evenish you can see the physical resistance points in steed is higher while magical resistance in lady is higher. only method to my madness). then in the lord i put 30 in quick recovery cause everyone needs better healing recieved.
