Swappable abilities and items:
You can swap Funnel Health to Force Pulse.
Since Morrowind patch, it's better to use Funnel Health as our main spammable ability as its much cheaper to cast, provides better sustain even though it deals a little less damage than Force Pulse.
Combat:
In combat we need to keep our Dark Shades ability up 100% of the time to gain the set bonus of Necropotence set. For great resource management we are using lightning staff on our front bar for easier heavy attacks and it provied great AOE damage.

Combat:
Rotation: Apply Buffs & Shields: Harness Magicka, Siphoning Attacks and Merciless Resolve before entering combat. Light attack between EVERY ability you cast to maximize DPS. In most situations we'll get Merciless Resolve "Proc" 2 - 3 times in 20 seconds duration, cast it as soon as you get it on your front bar rotation.
Dark Shades, Light Attack, Twisting Path, Light Attack, Elemental Blockade, Light Attack, Crippling Grasp, Light Attack, Bar Swap, Light Attack, Funnel Health/Force Pulse, Heavy Attack, Funnel Health/Force Pulse, Bar Swap and Repeat.
If you're new to the game or Nightblade class in general, I suggest you to read carefully what the different abilities do, how much they cost, whats their duration, cast time etc. so you understand how you should rotate your abilities and how they work.
