Don't have weapons in suggested traits?

No problem, most of the traits are now more in-line with each other. The difference between them in terms of DPS is small and it's all situational. However just keep in mind, I recommend reaching around/over 45 - 60% weapon critical without any mundus stone's.  Also what come's to amount of penetration, Id recommend reaching around 10000 - 11000 so keep that in mind when deciding what traits/mundus stone you're gonna be using. Sorcerers don't have Major Fracture (+5280 Penetration) from themselves as Dragonknights or Nightblades do so keep that in mind aswell. Anyway usually tanks apply this debuff to the enemy.

Love your build and all the detail you put into it.
I have one question. Is there a skill I can use instead of the assult skill caltrops? I have no interest in the pvp side of this game, and since the build is listed as pve, I find it strange that there is a pvp skill in the build. Thank you.

      Thank you!

I understand your point about the “PvP skill in the PvE build” but the point really is that, Caltrops is a must have ability for ALL stamina builds, its one of the best AOE abilities for stamina both in damage and utility. Also you will find “Vigor” skill from PvP skill lines handy sometimes too, with stamsorcs you don’t need it like probably never but in other stamina builds, you will need it always since its your only heal and a great tool to survive.

To unlock both Vigor + Caltrops only needs lvl 6 Assault in Alliiance War skill lines, which can be achieved in few hours in PvP.

But the answer to your question: slot Rearming Trap from the Fighters Guild skill lines instead, or Dark Deal for extra survivability.

Thank you very much for the answer.
I`ll see if I can endure being ganked for a few hours in the pvp zone. 😀

By the way, do you have plans on making a templar damage/heal build? I would very much like to one from you with all the detail you put in your builds.
    Best regards.

No problem, I try to answer as soon as I can!

Its best to move with a group in Cyrodil, when you’re in there, type LFG in the zone and you should get a group invite soon, then just move with them.

Also, funny that you ask… I just got my DPS templar leveled up and Ive been working on a build for it. I will release it as soon as I make out something that works and is fun!

What would be different if I chose Khajiit? What would I be missing out on?

You get more DPS as a Khajiit, but you’d miss quite a bit of stamina sustain. You can google the racial passives and see the difference!

Hey excellent build. I like the details and the extra effort u put into making this. I’m a returning player from imperial city launch, so the item links were very helpful to me. Are u working on any other builds besides the ones listed?

Thanks! Yeah I have couple under work, they just need a lot of testing before I can release them… But they will eventually end up here, so bookmark one of my builds and I update the “My other builds” text always when I release a new one.

Yes you can but it wont be as effective in the ens game content.

You can use whatever race you want but the races I listed above works the best with this one.

As far as I’m concerned HEs are viable with Magicka builds exclusively, just like Redguards are only viable with Stam builds.

Very nice build bro. I’m going to make some alterations to it though. Do u personally find any utility from an overload bar in PVE? How about streak? I ditched my Stam dk as I think stamsorc is infinitely cooler…but I’m having a very hard time finding usage for streak.

Thanks! Sure, my builds are here just to give people some information and sources to build their own.

Personally no, overload is useless in end-game PvE. Howevever you can use what you want in overland content. Streaks good for getting around fast (time trials etc) but dont use it for combat situations, its useless there.

I’m absolutely loving the two hand version of this build. I just use overload to store dark deal and a heal. It’s like a streak away in emetncy bar and is working pretty well. I also use sword singe and night mothers gaze. Absolutely loving it. So much fun. I was wondering if this is ur VMA build.

Yes I use 5 Vicious Ophidian 5 Twice Fanged Snake for vMA, both Two Hander and Dual Wield work nice in there.

Unfortunately I have neither vo or tfs. Do u still use stormfisr for VMA? Do you swap out cleave for Crit rush? Is VMA doable as a Stam class without 12-man trial gear? Thx for the responses I appreciate.

            Hey Wornlocc,
Would you be willing to post a VMA specific version of this build in both DW and 2h form? I would, and am sure many others would appreciate the effort. Keep up the good work man, hopefully u’ll start a theory crafting channel on YouTube, you put out some great stuff. Cheers.

Firstly, I LOVE this build, thanks SOOOO much! This is my 7th toon, and I’m leveling a Khajiit – her armour is 2 pieces of heavy Lamae (crafted, training, stamina) head & shoulders for the physical & spell restistance & 2 x daggers, 1 x bow with the enchants you suggested, the rest of my armour is medium Hundings (crafted, training, stamina) and she’s killin’ it!! Even when I was lvl 40 and had lvl 30 armour, still holding it’s damage, crit, stamina and health. Using Thief Mundas. Bar 1 – Using Hurricane, Shrouded Daggers, Steel Tornado, Familar (to lvl daedric summoning), Deadly Cloak, Storm Atronach for Ult. Bar 2 – Retreating Maneuver, Poison Arrow, Endless Hail, Familar, Critical Surge, Storm Atronach. Haven’t died yet!! 🙂
