Gear and Item Set Info
The gear set up for this build is what you can obtain easily by crafting and through the daily reward chests.
2 piece Torag's Pact (Heavy): Restoration Staff/ Inferno Destruction Staff/ Head. Weapons are crafted with the precise trait as well as enchanted with the max absorb magicka weapon glyphs. The helm has the divines trait as well as the max magicka glyph.
1 piece Molag Kena (Medium): The shoulders can be obtained through the middle reward chest that can be unlocked by completing the dungeon daily's for the undaunted keys. The trait to go for is divines, it may take you sometime to get the right ones.
5 Piece Juliano's (Light): Chest/Hands/Breeches/ Waist/ Feet. All pieces are crafted with the Divines trait and max magicka armor glyphs.
3 piece willpower: Neck/ Rings are all arcane with either magicka recovery or spell damage enchantments.
This is just a basic gear set up that I am able to use universally with my other class healers. The spell crit and extra spell damage helps keep a balanced set up for Veteran and hard mode dungeons.
General Info
This build is for group PVE content for Veteran Dungeons and Hard Modes. I wanted to utilize the strong healing capabilities of the Twilight Matriarchs healing as well as being able to deal damage to help make it through the dungeon quicker.
There are abilities that could be swapped out for various purposes. For the dlc dungeons (Ruins of Maz, Cradle of Shadows, White Gold Tower, and Imperial City Prison) I recommend replacing quick siphon for combat prayer or going double restoration staff and moving additonal slots such as elemental drain and mystic orbs for full healing.
The great thing about being a sorcerer is that you have access to a tertiary bar through using Energy Overload ultimate. I will use this normally as a buff bar/ execute bar which after having to have Bound Aegis and Twilight Matriarch - I still have 3 additional slots which will look something like this: Mages Wrath/Bound Aegis/ Twilight Matriarch/ Hardened Ward/ Power Surge. I buff up with Power Surge and use Hardened Ward for emergency situations. When enemies are near 20% health I will start using Mages Wrath.
Healing in dungeons: Before a pull I will buff up with Power Surge and Mutagen. When the tank starts I will immediately lay down my aoe and curse, followed by quick siphoning. If the group needs additional healing I will throw down an illustrious healing and continue dealing damage. The nice part about having Twilight Matriarch on both bars is that if the group starts taking damage and you are on your destruction staff side, you can use your Matriarchs heal and instantly restore two players with the lowest health.
