All heavy armor because not only does it give you more resistance, it can also restore magicka and stamina from taking hits and by doing Heavy Attacks. It increases Health received and overall Health.
Playstyle: This class is mainly focused on dealing out a lot of damage as well as healing yourself while doing so. If Solo or if you get paired up with a crappy healer, mainly use your 2nd Action Bar; otherwise alternate between the two action bars. When pairing up for a dungeen, pick Damage (DPS).
Optional: Try to use Blacksmithing, Provisioning, and Alchemy whenever you can to make a little extra money and to use while exploring.
Combat: Be upfront where the action is. Whenever you see a enemy that you can take on, use Critical Rush to deal extra damage at the start. When your Stamina bar get between 1/3 & 1/2, start spaming Whirling Blades and/or Repentance.
Potion and Food: Mainly get/make things that will restore Stamina and Magicka, but also get/make things that will restore Health just in case. With food, eat something right before you go to a dungeen for best effects.
Possible Skill Alternatives: You can switch the 1st and 2nd Action Bar,and have Honor The Dead in at least one Action Bar for just incase in corpses around.
