Gear and Item Set Info

For this build we will be using 5 heavy, both forthe extra tankiness, and the passives, we will be taking alot of damge, which will proc constitution constantly, max health is a great thing, and the extra resources on heavy attacks are all crucial to the build. Then 2 light on the monster set, because the extra regen and cost reduction outweighs the max stats youd get from a 5/1/1 set up. All my gear is purple, except gold weapons

Sets

5 piece heavy sturdy Impregnable Armor on chest, legs, hands, feet, waist. 2 stamina glyphs on chest and legs. 5 magika glyphson everything else. if you have all the gold in the world, im sure tri stat glyphs on everything would be the best option here.

- 5 piece Wizard's riposte active only on sword and shield bar. 3 jewlery, I run 1 spell damage, 1 Magika regen, and 1 reduce cost for glyphs, but you will need to play around and see what you need there. 1 sword with escapist poison IX ( or any other 1h, it doenst matter) and 1 shield, Defending on sword, sturdy on sheild. If you are in a group, and a healer is already wearing wizards riposte, you can swap it out for transmutation, if someoens already wearing that, just go with lich and bask in the glorious sustain.

- 2 piece Earthgore both sturdy, thise set is so incredibly strong, and is a massive source of our heals. It is very important to keep track of the cooldown, so you know when you can alternate between healing ulti and the earthgore proc, because more often than not, Rememberance + earthgore proc is overkill. If you cannot aquire earthgore, you can use troll king, bloodspawn, or lord wardens instead, but you won't find any better heals than earthgore.

- 1 piece Master's Resto staff, Powered trait, with absorb magika enchant. we use this for team utility, we are giving stamina back through healing springs. If you need better sustain, you can use a vMA resto staff for the magika return. If you have neither of those, use a wizard's riposte resto staff.

General Info

This Build is intended for Non Champion PVP, I use it in Battlegrounds and have had great success with it, it can be taken into champion point campaigns, but it really shines in non cp.

Blocking is a huge part of this build, and the sets we are running allow us to get a large amount of crit resist and block cost reduction without wearing any Impen, or using any champion points. Using Sturdy will let us mitigate alot of damage by blocking, so you need to time everything just right, and heavy attack on your resto staff, and sword and sheild bar accordingly, keeping your stats up is very important, Between blocking, cleansing, potions, earthgore, and ultimates, you can stay alive very easily, allowing you to pump out monster heals to your team. Heavy attack on resto staff into stacked healing springs is huge heals. Make sure to alwasy have an extended ritual down where you are fighting so your team can cleanse, and have a heal over time. Keep you teams stam or mag topped off with energy orbs, they give back resources, provide a nice burst heal, and a heal over time, as well as the chance to proc earthgore. Rapid regen is there mostly for the chance to proc earthgore on a teammate that is far away, I use honor the dead to panic heal one person and for the magika return, and if I need to heal more than one person, I am using healing springs instead. Aurora Javelin is great to just pull people off of you, or a teammate. Repentance is amazing when people are dying around you, free heal and keeps your stamina up so you can block more. Rune focus is a great source of resistances, and magika return, and structured entropy is there to give us major sorcery because we are using tri pots instead of spell power pots. Lastly, i use inner light on my resto bar, becasue crit heals are huge with healing springs, and same wioth structured entropy, we are using tri pots so we wont have major prohechy from potions. You can defiently swap with skill out with purifying light, radient destruction, mist form if you go vamp, guard (then take of javelin on front bar) or any other skill you want.

Race - I use High Elf, mostly because I PVP on AD, and don't have any race any alliance. Argonioan will be the strongest choice, then Breton, high elf, dark elf. Realistcally you can use whatever race you want, but Argonian will be the strongest.

Attributes - 54 Magika, 10 Health

Mundas - Atronach

Potions - Tri Stat

Food - Tri Stat

Poison - Escapist Poison IX on sword and shield bar, used mostly for when you need to get to your team to provide heals, and there is someone chasing you being annoying.

Vampire - I am not currently running Vamp on this toon, I plan on testing it out soon, I see no reason not to really, the extra regen is great, damage mitigation is great, and access to mist form could prove very useful. It all depends on what you want really.

The key to making a successful build guide, is labeling the main role incorrectly, and not logging in when you make it, so you can’t edit it. Main role is Healer, not tank. Enjoy.
