Gear and Item Set Info

 

2 Piece Valkyn Skoria/Grothdarr. Both of these pieces should be Light Armor. Impenetrable on Shoulders and Sturdy on Head. Max Magicka Glyphs on all.

5 Piece Innate Axiom. All of these pieces should be Heavy Armor. Sturdy on Chest and Legs, and Impenetrable on Waist, Hands, and Feet. Max Magicka Glyphs on all.

5 Piece Silks of the Sun (3 Jewelry + 2x Sword & Board). Spell Damage Glyphs on the Jewelry, but you could run one Magicka Recovery Glyph. Both shields should be Sturdy. Infused Sword on the front bar and Decisive Sword on the back bar. Front bar enchanted with Berserker (Increase Weapon + Spell Damage) and the back bar with Crusher (Lower Resistances)

 

 

General Info

 

For this build, you should be using the Essence of Spell Power. (Spell Crit, Spell Damage, Magicka). You could run either Clockwork Citrus Filet, Witchmother's Potent Brew, or Jewels of Misrule.

*In terms of skills, I did basically Copy and Paste Blob's MagDK build because I really enjoy the setup has because it has basically all of the utilities a MagDK needs to survive and do damage, so credit to him where it is deserved.*

Why Innate Axiom and Silks of the Sun?

Most of the damage a MagDK does is based on class abilities that do Flame damage. Innate Axiom increases the spell and weapon damage of your class abilities by 400 - a massive increase. On top of this, you are a Dunmer that is doing basically all flame damage, which will be buffed by Silks of the Sun set. This means you essentially have a +800 damage incrase on all of your damage abilities (except Entropy and Stone Giant). Innate Axiom also gives you Spell Crit, while Silks of the Sun gives you a small amount of Spell Damage. Both sets give you Health and Innate Axiom helps aid in blocking because of the Max Stamina it gives.

I am a Stage 4 Vampire, but that is completely optional.

 

Champion Point Tips

 

Blue Tree

- Focus on Spell Erosion, Elfborn, *Elemental Expert*, and Thaumaturge.

Red Tree

- Focus on Ironclad, Resistant, Thick Skinned, Hardy, and Elemental Defender.

Green Tree

- Focus on Archanist, Warlord, Tenacity, Healthy, and Shadow Ward.

 

Put a decent amount of points into Elemental Expert because it will buff your damage even more.
