Champion Point Tips
The Ritual: Mighty, Precise Strikes.
Theif: Mooncalf.
The Lover: Warlord.
The Lord: Medium Armor Expertise.
(Might have got them mixed up, those are the ones you will want to prioritize.)
Interesting build Risingstorm12, I’m going to try this out.
Once you get it down it’s an amazing build, almost unstoppable if you can keep your stam up. With this build I have solo’d Spindle and many other dungeons.
P.S. On bar 2 that’s another copy of Flames of Oblivion on the 5th slot, messed up there.
I changed it to Flames of Oblivion. 🙂
Thanks, now I don’t have to write it all up again. xD
I have a few qustions 😉
How do you get 2500 weapon power??
why don’t you use a morag’s tong or a ravaging set instead of the night silence set? you will have a bit less stamina regen, but so much more dmg? why 5 med and 2 heavy?
hope you can answer these 😉
Stacking it up with the Hunding’s Rage set and the Warrior Mundus Stone with Divines on all the gear. I don’t use Morag Tong set because this is a Stamina Regen build. Night’s Silence tied with Bosmer and the drink gets insane Stam Regen. Also in a DPS test Morag Tong did slightly less. It had better spike but with Night’s Silence you have enough Stam Regen to roll and attack indefinitely. So in the long run the Regen beat the Morag Tong, also it is far cheaper. The Heavy is for survival. Having the chest and legs (which are the “heavy” items of sets) grants you about 2k more armor which helps a lot. Rather then 3% extra crit and 100 Stam Regen.
Tried to make this build to the best of my ability. My favourite build I’ve tried so far. Great build.
As of the upgrade, you can no longer block while regenerating stamina… pooches this build entirely. I was at V1 with this and enjoying the hell out of it until the upgrade to 2.1.4 this morning. Done with this game
Yes, that did mess up a bit of the tankiness while regenerating stamina. But this build is still very viable.
Yeah, after a couple of days off (couldn’t stand it anymore), I came back and finished up this build.
Finding a bit of difficulty in the IC sewers with so little Health. I noted you mentioned in a post below that reduce feature cost works better than regen. I have half of my points into each (offline for patch at the moment so don’t recall exact points) I am sitting at around 45 in each. Would you recommend redistributing to all in reduce feature?
Two quick questions on Whirlwind: Would swords not have more damage? Does improving the damage of the blade (upgrades) affect Whirlwind? i.e. You’re not hitting with the blades, so what increases the damage of this skill? — Or DOES blade damage affect Whirlwind damage?
Is this build viable with Vampire or should I avoid Vampire all together?
Sorry for the delayed response, took a break from ESO. After a lot of testing and the new changes to Werewolf (Where you must have the Ultimate on to get the stamina regen) I would say Vampire is better for this now as you get 10% Stamina and Magicka regen, which will help with Green Dragon’s Blood.
Hey guys, lately i have been playing around with this build and testing stuff. Some changes that i have made is going to Vampire instead of Werewolf, Replacing Flames of Oblivion with Evil Hunter, And changing the Night’s silence set pieces to Night mother’s Gaze and also going full medium with Divines. Also for the champion points i have gone with are just Medium Armor Focus, Tumbling, Precise Strikes, and Warlord. Currently with 38 points into each tree, i have 10 in tumbling, 28 into Warlord, and rest of the points Medium Armor focus and Precise Strikes. Also i have changed the Drink to a Magicka and Stamina, instead of health regen. As the health regen is not really needed with Rally and Green Dragon’s Blood. Stamina regen is no longer the main focus here. As i have found Reduce Feat cost is more viable then the regen. So i have gone with a Redguard as they have regen, stamina steal, and max stanina, and also going with full Reduce Feat Cost jewelry with Robust.
Hmmm,
I run 5 hundings 5 briar on my DW Bar and use my 2h bar just for buffs.
Dw(dps bar):
Unstable flame, burning breath, rapid strikes, steel nado, evil hunter
2h(buff bar):
Crit Rush/vigor, caltrops/eruption,executioner, molten weapons, rally
Stats:
19.8k hp, 37k stamina ( dual stat food), 3500 weapon damage unbuffed, buffed with briar proc = 4.8k, when weapon enchants proc u will hit 5.5k, 70%crit. I use shadow stone. Stam regen : 700
The thing is, dks do not need stam regen. For ex, my build I throw all Dots and go into a cycle of rapid strikes + weave. Repeat 3 times, re cast Dots, cast molten weapons and go for one charged full heavy to get back stam due to helping hands passive. On every earthen heart tree skill cast u get back 5% stamina. For me that’s around 2k. With a full heavy I get close to 4K stamina back every time I use molten weapons and swing.
Dps: single target 18-25k depending on undead/daedra or not.
Aoe: infinite infinite power. Caltrops + burning breath + steel nado gets u well over 30k dps easy.
Hope this helps!
5 Hundings and 5 Briar — all medium? With what traits?
Additionally I don’t like using flames of oblivion as it is a toggle. This means it takes up 2 slots on your bars. I’d much rather go with evil hunter as it only needs to be on one bar and still offers you major savagery and with most New dungeons are full of undead or daedra, this thing has a 15% chance to proc 5000 bonus damage and return stamina! Nom nomx dps!
