Gear and Item Set Info

Recovery = >2k, Spell Damage = >2.5k, Resists = 18k/16k/1.4k

Notable tool-tip damages: 13.6k Fissure, 10.6k Cliff Racers, 63k Soul Assault

This build is good for solo pvp, group pvp, BGs and non-competitive pve.

Race: Dunmer (vamp if you wish but I am not) High Elf or Argonian would also work as races. I wanted Dunmer for damage and resist passives.

Mundus: Mage/Apprentice will give you very similar tool-tips so your choice.

Sets: Shackle Breaker(crafted) and Necropotence(Rivenspire). Run either 3 jewelry 2 body or 3 jewelry and staves. Crafting the staffs allows you to get the disired traits and is easier than farming.

Front bar: Inferno staff - Nirn, Infused or Sharp in that order. Berzerker or Shock glyph

Backbar: Frost staff or Resto. I'd run either a Infused or Charged with a Frost Glyph. Infused or Powered resto.

I run Infused on the big pieces and either Impen or Divines on the small pieces, all Magicka glyphs.

Monster set is up to you. I am running 1 piece Chokethorn for the extra recovery and 1 Domi for max stats.

I generally like to run one set on jewelry/weapons and the other on body. I try and run the jewelry/weapon set with a set I know will not likely get nerffed so that I can swap the body set for added flexibility with future DLC and Expansion gear sets that may come out or just another set I want to try.

General Info

Food: Either of these will give you, along with one piece Chokethorn, over 2k recovery in non-CP. If you are comfortable with under 2k recovery then I'd run tri-stat foods for more Stamina.

Increase Max Health by 5000 and Magicka Recovery by 457 for 2 hours.

Increase Max Magicka and Max Health by 3192 and Magicka Recovery by 319 for 2 hours. These effects are scaled based on your level.

Potions: Alliance vendor Magicka pots or any crafted/trash pots from dungeons will be fine

Poisons: I don't typically run them so run anything you'd like.

You can also heal with this build. Even in pvp gear you can do vet dungeons just fine if you know how to heal well. I did Maelstrom at level 27 with this character in all "picked-up" gear. If you want to heal slot the following on the backbar:

  1. Corrupting Pollen - nice heal with an enemy debuff built in
  2. Expansive Frost Cloak - provides extra resists for the group
  3. Mutagen - cheap ranged HoT
  4. Healing Springs - no brainer
  5. Netch or Elemental Drain

Sometimes I will also run Barrier or Thicket or Permafrost on the backbar and Soul Assault on the front depending on solo or group play. Barrier will give you magicka recovery for having it slotted and is nice in BGs.

A typical attack would look like:

  • Buff up
  • LA
  • Elemental Blockade
  • Winters Revenge
  • LA
  • Bar Swap
  • Fissure
  • LA
  • Clench or Force Pulse with LA weaving
  • Cliff Racer or Soul Assault as an execute
