Gear and Item Set Info
5x Deadly Strike.
5x Venomous Smite
2x Balorgh OR 1x Ring of the Wild Hunt with 1x Velidreth
Dual Wield axes. One Nirnhoned, one with Sharpened. Best poison available in place of an enchant.
Infused Bow with Weapon Damage Enchant
7x Stamina Enchants on Armour; 7x Divines or 4x Impen 3x Well Fitted.
2x Weapon Damage and 1x Stamina Recovery on Jewelry; Infused or Robust.
Deadly Strike amplifies all of our DoT effects (which this build has many of) as well as channelled effects such as Toxic Barrage and Rapid Strikes.
Venomous Smite is a massive DoT that procs as soon as we get a crit and is amplified by the previously mentioned Deadly Strike set.
Balorgh is one of, if not the best burst damage monster set available right now. When popping Toxic Barrage alongside it, I've seen people die within the first second of the channel. The tooltip while fully buffed can read upwards of 100k from the channel and 40k from the DoT. Balorgh's can also be used alongside Incap Strike on the opener for huge damage as well.
Ring of the Wild Hunt is a luxury item that sacrifices Balorgh's burst damage for massive mobility. In Cyrodiil between Wild Hunt, Concealed Weapon, and Race Against Time, you can hit the 200% movement speed cap in sneak which drastically reduces downtime and allows you to sneak nearly everywhere. Alongside this ring, we use a 1x Velidreth for the extra bit of weapon damage considering there's nothing else worth slotting. Kragh's can be used in place of this if desired.
Axes are used because they can apply a short, but relatively hefty bleed that has a good chance of proccing on our opener. Swords or Maces can be used if you wish to sacrifice the RNG bleeds for more consistent, guaranteed damage if desired.
The Warrior or The Shadow Mundus stones. Warrior for more sustained damage, Shadow for more burst damage. Also stacks well alongside the Khajiit passive + Race Against Time.
General Info
We want to open with Lethal Arrow into Light Attack>Poison Injection from sneak. This will cause Lethal Arrow to be a guaranteed critical, which will hit for a large chunk of damage, apply a healing reduction debuff, poison damage over time, and our Venomous Smite set. We then weave a light attack into Poison Injection. This will proc our weapon damage glyph from our bow and apply another damage over time effect.
After the bow combo, we will weapon swap to our dual wield bar and Ambush>Light Attack>Rending Slash. At this point, we have applied all of our available DoT effects to the target, and likely killed them if they are below 24k health and haven't responded fast enough. From here, the rotation becomes much more fluid. Rapid Strikes becomes our primary spam ability in melee, and Killer's Blade to execute. You may also swap to your Bow and kite the enemy around while they are being hammered with damage over time effects.
Be wary of fighting multiple targets. Our combo uses a very large amount of Stamina, and killing a second target is typically very difficult unless you pop a potion beforehand, or you have Incap Strike available to quickly burst them down.
Getting away from a fight gone wrong can be difficult due to the inability to sneak while a DoT effect is active on an enemy. For these situations, packing a potion of invisibility + movespeed is quite handy to allow you to escape quickly while your damage effects tick away.
For Food, Dubious Camoran Throne or Tri-Stat Food are both solid options, though I would lean toward Dubious Camoran for BGs due to the increased Stamina Recovery.
Champion Point Tips
This build focuses primarily on no-cp PvP and as such, champion points are not relevant to this guide.
Thanks God a build without stupid surprise attack! I am so happy!
What about passives?
Even though its a bit outdated with newer set bonuses and metas I find this is a super fun build to run. It makes people super salty when they bleed out while you dodge roll and stealth around them.
