Gear and Item Set Info
Intro:
This build is for maximum support to your dps with buffs. Healing power is secondary, the power of this build is the power you'll be giving to your dps.
Gear:
The gear is the most important part of this build, and is what will set the standard for how you'll be playing.
5 - Spell Power Cure pieces, It'll be easier to get 3 purple pieces of jewelry in this than doing vHoF.
5 - Master Architect . It'll be easier to get the clothing pieces for this in nHoF, so plan out which dungeon you'll be doing for which pieces.
1 - monster shoulder piece.
**note itll be best to get a Decisive restoration staff, as your ultimate is what you'll be spamming the most of. So make sure to get a resto staff with this trait. whether it be a master restoration staff, SPC resto staff, or MA resto staff.
Mundus stone would be atronach or ritual, up to you if you need the extra healing power or not. I use atronach personally.
Play Style:
For this build, youre going to want to spam your ultimate as much as possible, this applies a 15% damage increase buff to 2 members of your party. This is why a decisive staff that gives more ultimate points is so useful. So try and position yourself in the fight nearest your dps, or whoever you think is your top dps in the group if you cannot maintain both nearest. SPC which is a strong damage buff, can be applied regularely, either with your regular enchanted growth heals, constant application of combat prayer for that 8% damage buff, or energy orbs. Apply expansive frost cloak regularly as well, and use elemental drain on larger targets to lower their defense. Throw down elemental blockade to throw enemies off balance and gives your dps another 10% damage increase.
General Info
Things to consider:
This build isn't the end all and be all, there are some skills in here that can be played with, like I like to double bar expansive frost cloak, but that isn't necessary. Infact, you could put lotus blossom in its place, as an extra crit chance for your heals if you felt like it. Play with the build as you see fit. All said and done, this is a strong build for helping your dps, and as a warden, you'll have the best chance as a healer to apply a 15% damage buff far more regularly than a templar.
