Gear and Item Set Info
if you can get grothdarr(2), Julianos(5) for the rest of the armor, and alteration mastery (5) jewelry and weapon/shield that would probably be a good and easy enough setup to get.
magicka recovery on 2 jewelry and 1 reduce cost, with arcane. for armor and weapons im still working it out. if you feel you need more survivability, go for some reinforced and impenetrable... or if you want more recovery, divines with the atronach mundus does a pretty good job, in this case i would go 5 divines and 3 sturdy to help block some damage.
sharpened weapons with weapon damage enchantment.
also, i typically go shield, chest, head and belt health enchantments the rest of the armor magicka. once buffed with food i have 33 968 magicka and 19k health
buff up with molten armaments, coagulating blood and hardened armor pre-fight.
bar swap and open up with the rune when your close enough to aggro. then engulf right away, you'll debuff the enemy before the rune arms and explodes, providing extra damage. once rune has popped, use burning embers to get the heal going then lash twice... once will put off balance to provide more damage on second lash... then use flames of oblivion, burning embers as well as the lash to sustain damage and rebuff whenever the buffs run off. recast rune whenever they dont have the stun buff keeping you from stunning them.
a destruction staff could be used in 2nd bar to help sustain magicka... using a heavy attack whenever you hit about 50% magicka should get you through... but keep in mind you will be losing the 5 piece from bloodthorn while on 2nd bar.
use ferocious leap on main bar every time its up, it will help with resource management.
Champion Point Tips
The Lover : arcanist is most important... try to reach at least 15%
The Tower : try to get at least 5% in bashing focus and warlord... over longer fights this will help sustain and survive.
The Shadow: again at least 5% in shadow ward and tumbling
The Apprentice : elemental expert most important, then split some between elfborn and spell erosion
The Ritual : some points in thaumaturge also help out sustain damage
The Lady : if you go wamp, you'll want a good amount in elemental defender, try to go as high as you can before you begin to soft-cap... should be around 50 points... then split between light armor focus and.....
The Steed : ..... spell shield to try and get a good balance of resistances.
once you reach the stats defined here, put some wherever you feel you need to for the rest. for instance, you may block more or roll dodge more... put the points where it will suit you best
