General Info

The idea behind this build is to buff up and then cast your front bar abilities in order to get them all to hit at the same time for large AOE burst. The simple rotation is to buff up on your back bar and then activate the following moves in order: Growing Swarm, Unstable Wall of Elements, Deep Fissure, Volcanic Rune, Meteor, Elemental Ring. If done correctly all should hit at approx the same time doing really high burst. While Meteor is on cool down just weave in an extra Elemental Ring. You want to activate the Netch every 2 rotations to keep it up. Doing it every time you switch to your back bar is a waste of time so only do it every other time.

Winters Revenge on the back bar is purely for a little more DPS over time however you may choose other skills that suit you better.

Elemental Ring was chosen due to the ranged advantage, this allows you to execute this burst combo when defending keep door during enemy rams. This will help your allies that are on oils significantly.

There is a lot of flexibility with the back bar as heals should not really be an issue with decent healers in your group, in this case you may want to switch out some skills for Rearming Trap and Bird of Prey to give you more DPS.

Other possible sets include:

Vicious Death: (Will increases the burst potential in PVP against zergs, you effectively become a ranged bomber.)

Ysgramor Birthright: (Yeah, Yeah, I know it is not really a great set, but if you can't be bothered farming Spell Weave you can use an Ice Staff and this will boost Ice Comet, Unstable Wall of Elements and Elemental Ring significantly. Plus the snares can really help keep you targets in the AOE, more for PVP do not use in PVE unless you do not have a better set.)

Mother's Sorrow: (If you do not take Theif Mundus despite the nerf you might be struggling for enough crit so this will help.)

Necropotence: (Really nice for a Magicka Boost and this actually might come out on top especially of you take the Mage as your Mundus)

Scathing Mage: (Also a really good set)

For your Mundus Stone choice it depends: I have found that the Lover is now a great Mundus to use in full Divines allowing you to switch out a Sharpened Weapon for either a Precise or Nirnhoned. Otherwise you may stick with Sharpened and choose either the Thief or Mage. Keep in mind that the Thief Mundus has been nerfed with the recent patch while most of the others have been buffed.

Note: Shadow Mundus has been nerfed into oblivion, so do not try a high crit build (Scathing Mage + Mother's Sorrow.) In fact Warrior Mundus on Crit does more damage than Shadow on Crit (stupid I know but... ZOS).

I chose Breton for my race as although Altmer will give better DPS, Breton will offer cheaper ability cost and as a result better sustain.

Champion Point Tips

Due to the Mundus Changes and Set Piece Buffs CP allocation is very dependant on what sets you are gonna build around. ZOS has made some huge changes and it will be some time before BiS is rediscovered. For now try and place your points to benefit your choices.

For example if you do not have a Sharpened Weapon you might want to put more into Spell Erosion along with The Lover Mundus. This would mean sets like Scathing Mage or Mother Sorrow will help your lack of Crit.

With the new patch a lot has changed and this means more diversity with builds and CP allocation. No doubt BiS will be discovered eventually and you can run the best sets and CP allocation when BiS is figured out.

At the moment I like running Lover Mundus and increasing my Spell Damage and Crit through Sets and have found it to be effective.
