Gear and Item Set Info
Ice staff (nirn/precise)/ Resto (nirn/powered)
5 necro (jewelry, 2 body)
*3 torug's pact (substitute magnus or any other set you want here... I go torugs for another line of health, makes you very tanky)
** you can go for necro and willpower if you feel fine on health and are good with keeping shields up
2 piece monster = loads of options, my favorite are:
Ice Heart, Domihaus, Engine Guardian, Might Chudan (yes that's right, Might Chudan) choose based on personal preference.
Body gear should be infused and tri-glyph. (if too expensive, infused and max mag for bigger shields, or impen if you arent comfortable keeping shields up)
General Info
With Dragon Bones, birds are now dodgeable, making them pretty useless as they are a really telegraphed move. I liken the ability with a terrible version of dark flare, any worthwhile pvper knows how to avoid most dark flares.
As such is the case: new combo is set to better guarantee a shalks hit: shalks - frost reach - light/heavy attack - crushing shock. Ideally, the snare from frost reach keeps the target locked and then the shalks knock down so the heavy and crushing shock hit the target when they're down for max damage.
For max burst: shalks - ice comet - frost reach, crushing shock. wait for the target to drop cc immunity so the shalks knock down right before comet hits for max effect. This will nuke most players.
Champion Point Tips
Not max cp yet, but here are the priorities:
Elemental Expert (frost & magic damage)
Master at Arms (direct damage)
Arcanist (mag recovery)**** => argonian passive helps so players comfortable with potions for sustain, drop this form priority
Bastion (damage shield)
Blessed (healing done)
Quick Recovery (realing Received)
