Gear and Item Set Info
Gear for this Build
2 Piece Blood Spawn for ultimate Generation as well as extra resistance
5 Piece Armor Master 1 of which should be a 1h weapon in Defending trait the rest should be sturdy
5 Piece Green Pact Set 3 Jewelry Shield and 1 piece of armor
All my armor and shields have prismatic defence
General Info
The strength of this build lies in its high health regen and resistances buffed up with Health/Stamina food and using retoring focus and elude I have 34k spell resist and 31k physical Resist with armor master for the first 6 sec I have 38k and 34k if blood spawn procs I have more. My health regen is 2k using the steed mundus stone. I also have nearly 39k health
I have my back bar set up to help DPS the trash. I can tank farely well on my front bar alone without the need to have 2 bars for tanking trash mobs go a bit faster.
This build is largely about passive tanking I only need to block some of the bigger damage so can save stamina and do not run out often except durring high end vet dungeon and trial content where blocking is more essential.
Champion Point Tips
Champion points I would say are essential for this build are
In the thief
at least 30 in healthy split the rest between reduced stamina cost and reduced magicka cost since we use both
in the mage
Fill up Healer with 100 then put the rest in Mighty
in the warrior
I put 50 in each hardy and elemental defender then the rest goes in quick recovery
Hi. Can you please tell us how you spent your attribute points, and possibly your skill points. Thanks.
Yes please tell us how to allocate the points!!
Sorry guys missed the Attribute points. I have all 64 in stam. If you wanted you could put 10 or so in health you would have higher health but also less stam. Kinda personal preference. As for skills I basically have most of the passives for the class lines all the s&b passives of course full heavy armor and mostly full medium and light armor. Also Fighters guild. after that it really depends what you want Crafting skills/DB/TG whatever.
Hey man cool build I have an orc Templar I wanted to do some tanking with so do you need to have medium armor equipped for the elude skill?
Sorry probably a noob question but what is the points in medium and light armor for if you are using heavy? New to This class and figured I would ask
To answer both your questions. No you don’t need medium armor equiped to use elude just have to have the skill line leveled up enough to take it which you can do by equipping one medium armor piece. As to the reason to have them all maxed you really don’t need all the passives but if you fill out at least the ones that give bonuses per piece of light/medium armor and then when your undaunted is maxed and you get the final passive that gives you stat bonuses based on how many different types of armor you have you cycle in one light and one medium piece to boost your stats.
What you mean fill up healer 100
Yes 100 healer. It helps with those times when you are solo or the healer goes down. My BOL does about 7k normal 11k crit
Quick question, what exactly are the passive points for this build?
Passives as I said in my earlier comment take all the passives for all the class skill lines. Take all the S&B passives. Heavy Armor Passives of course. Undaunted Passives. After that it is more preference if you run 1 med and 1 light with this build instead of the 7 heavy then take all the medium and light armor passives that are per piece. Other than that it really depends on what you want like crafting/DB/Thieves etc. None of that helps you really as a tank but helps in other areas.
What about passives ?
Passives as I said in my earlier comment take all the passives for all the class skill lines. Take all the S&B passives. Heavy Armor Passives of course. Undaunted Passives. Is this still viable in homestead update. Also how is the end game with this. Like vet dungeons and trails.
